Nightwater Guide

Nightwater Wiki

Reference pages for Nightwater: systems, requirements, languages, pricing and update history.

The reference pages compile data from the Steam store page and developer notes, without player interpretation. They cover resources and milestones, buildings and automation, biomes and island expansion, minigames, and system requirements. Each page lists concrete numbers: over 20 resources, 60+ buildings, five minigames, and the six biomes named on the wiki: Woods, Mountains, Desert, Snowy Hills, Volcano, and Starlight Fields. The system requirements page repeats the exact minimum and recommended specs from the Steam page.

The systems connect in a loop. You harvest resources from biomes, each resource has milestone goals that unlock new buildings and crafts. Buildings automate production, and pipes link them. Expanding the island manifests new biomes, which give access to more resources. The five minigames are optional but offer upgrades and buffs that feed back into the factory. The wiki pages explain these connections in a reference format, with tables and lists, so you can look up a specific number or requirement quickly.

The difference between the wiki and the guides is purpose. The wiki pages are neutral references: they state what the Steam page and developer posts say, such as the 40 achievements or the 1.0.13 patch notes about the chili buff and pineapple nerf. The guides, by contrast, collect player-reported problems and community solutions, like the piping frustration or the Fuel Shortage balance debate. If you need a fact, check the wiki. If you need a workaround, check the guides. No official source confirms anything beyond what is written on those pages.
